Listeners to our segments know what a fan I am of King’s bowling in Back Bay, Burlington, Dedham, Lynnfield, and the Seaport. People who know me even better know how much I want to help find a cure for Frontal Temporal Dementia which claimed my father five years ago.

That is why I am so happy to talk about the Strike Out FTD event that is taking place March 24 at noon at King’s in the Seaport!

Though dealing with FTD is not fun in anyway, this special event will give patients, caregivers, family members, and others a chance to come together to enjoy King’s great food and drink, the fun of bowling, and, most importantly, the sense of communal support hat makes such a difference for anyone dealing with this or any medical issue.

So even if you are fortunate enough to not be dealing with this painful prognosis, as more and more people are being diagnosed every day, it becomes more important to support others so they can support you.

What better way to do it than with a bowling party and what better place than King’s?
