Dorset Café

Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (http://boston.cbslocal.com) weekdays at 11:55 AM.

The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s forthcoming segments:

Racing back and forth from Boston to the burbs can take a toll on even the most dedicated journalist. That is why I am so glad to have found Dorset Café in Wellesley!

Located on Route 16 and also on the Commuter Rail at Wellesley Hills, Dorset not only offers amazingly fresh and flavorful foods around, but they also offer the rare and refreshing repast of an authentic but unstuffy English tea. Served Monday through Saturday from 2-4, the real China tea service comes complete with over 30 varieties of hand-picked teas, as well as home-baked scones, muffins, finger sandwiches, and other treats, all served with authentic accouterments lke real English clotted cream and fresh fruit preserves.
The larger menu ranges from a “spa” menu of organic salads and soups to breakfast all day favorites like the deliciously healthy wheat flour waffles and egg soufflé sandwiches to quiches, pizzettes and sandwiches that feature the best of whatever the region has to offer. They also have their own signature blends of Dedham’s own Fazenda coffee.

So whenever I need to refuel in style, I got a new place to stop and smell the rooibos. Dorset Café!
