We recently spoke about my new favorite stop for a delicious break- Dorset Café.

Well, while the locals in Wellesley often go back day after day, those outside of town may also recognize the name from the award-winning gluten-free baked goods that are sold at Whole Foods and at specialty markets, hospitals and colleges throughout New England.

As they were among the first venues in MA to use sustainable bamboo flooring and LED lighting, it may be no surprise that Dorset was also ahead of the Gluten-free curve. Since 2006, they have been producing delicious gluten-free baked goods in a dedicated off-site kitchen.

Among the fabulous flavors that are currently available are chocolate ganache, coconut vegan and lemon cheesecake tortes, as well as gluten-free and vegan chocolate coconut and chocolate banana tortes..

So even for those who are not lucky enough to be able to drop by Dorset on a regular basis for their delicious organic soups and salads, handcraftred sandwiches or their famed daily tea service, it is easy to enjoy and share their amazing dessert selections and to offer them confident that anyone can enjoy them with you regardless of allergies or dietary preferences.
