The 29th Annual Boston Wine Festival

Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (http://boston.cbslocal.com) weekdays at 11:55 AM.

The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

Before the Patriots being in the playoffs was a thing, one of the Boston area’s greatest and longest-lasting traditions was (and remains) the Boston Wine Festival which has been hosted at the Boston Harbor Hotel by Chef Daniel Bruce for nearly 30 years.

The latest edition is already rolling strong, but there are plenty of great opportunities to enjoy amazing food and wine in one of the city’s most luxurious hotels all while enjoying some of the area’s best water views.

Among the highlights yet to come in the three-month celebration of international wine, locally-sourced food and well-deserved good times are Chef Bruce’s famed Valentine’s Day dinner dance (February 10) and a premiere event by the internationally-acclaimed Portuguese winery Van Zellers & Co. on February 15. There will also be intimate wine dinners featuring Château Cos d’Estournel (February 16) Burgess Cellars (February 22), Schloss Johannisberg (February 28), Peter Michael Winery (March 7), and Opus One (March 8).

So after you are done marking New England’s latest annual

Celebration, grab some special someone’s and make a night (or series of nights) at the Boston Harbor Hotel.

Win or lose, there will be plenty to wine about.
