Buttercup coming to Natick

Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (http://boston.cbslocal.com) weekdays at 11:55 AM.

The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

Despite all the building going on in the Newton Needham corridor, there is not much new in terms of good food.

Thankfully, we still have great places like Farm Grill, Walnut Grille, Three Squares, Hearth Pizza, and The Farmhouse.

Speaking of The Farmhouse, the husband and wife team behind this five-year-old institution has decided to try to share their wealth of recipes and family-friendly flair by Kickstarting a second spot in Natick under the equally rural name Buttercup.

Like The Farmhouse, Buttercup is set to be an authentic and ambitious farm-to-table restaurant with seating for 100 and an outdoor patio. In addition to trusted area farmers, Buttercup will also source from the owner’s family-run farm. Even the furnishings will include restored barn boards and other farm-raised accents to make the setting as authentic and comfortable as the food.

So for all of you who have come to love the Farmhouse and for the many more who seek wholesome, delicious food made by families for families, get ready to get your glow from Buttercup!
