Sondheim comes to Brookline March 14

Matt regularly appears with Jordan Rich on “Connoisseur’s Corner” which airs on WBZ (https://wbznewsradio.iheart.com/) weekdays at 11:55 AM.

The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

When you have a Passion for Company, there are few better places to gather a Forum than La Morra in Brookline. Husband and wife owners Jennifer and Josh Ziskin (who also run the worth-the-trip Heritage of Sherborn in Sherborn, MA) are always doing creative things to keep their devoted customers coming back and to entice new ones to join the party.

Speaking of parties, on March 14 at 6 PM, La Morra will host an event that will celebrate not only their amazing and amazingly creative and fresh food but also the creative spark that is Stephen Sondheim.

A Little Feast will feature five acts of theatrically-inspired (and plain inspired) cuisine. From a witchcrafted prologue of greens to the best meat pies in Brookline and an artistic representation of dessert worthy of George Seurat, the Ziskins and their talented team have been putting it together for some time and hope that you will join them for a culinary celebration of being alive. To make it even more theatrical, proceeds will be donated to The Lyric Stage Company of Boston and Huntington Theatre, both of whom have been celebrating Sondheim side by side. It will surely be a cut above and a good reason to go Into the Woods of Brookline Village to create your own West Side Story.
