It’s summer in New England and that means lazy days at the beach. While many flock to the Oceanside in ME or NH lakes, there are great options right here in MA.
In an effort to help revitalize Nantasket Beach, a group of local residents have opened Paragon Boardwalk, featuring food from consulting chef and South Shore native Doug Rodrigues. In addition to showcasing his amazing food, the venue features local artists, an awesome mini-golf and amusement center, and a craft beer cabana and that will make it the perfect spot for a family day or a day playing hooky from work (though we would never condone such behavior!). It also has the Bay State’s only legal pari-mutuel betting at Fascination, which is an authentic boardwalk game of skill that goes back 100 years!
From butternut-coated deep-fried turkey legs and locally-sourced fish tacos, to regionally-made ice cream and a rainbow assortment of house-flavored cotton candy, Rodrigues is bringing the family fun and great summer vibe back to Nantasket and making it a destination spot for sun worshippers and foodies from all over.
