Though it is known for its international offerings, Needham has long been in dire need of a great new place for Mexican food.
Fortunately, our neighbors from Dedham’s popular Pancho’s Taqueria are coming to answer the call!
Armed with decades of restaurant experience, generations of family recipes, and a dedication to scratch, fresh-never-frozen cooking (right down to the hot sauce!), Pancho’s proprietors Carlos and Nohely Chavira are looking forward to bringing their expansive menu from Dedham Square to downtown Needham. The new spot (which will be just across from Town Hall) will feature a menu that offers everything from design-your-own breakfast burritos and out-of-the-ordinary day starters like crunchy chilaquiles to Pancho’s rich and warming tortilla soup to tacos and burritos that can be filled with anything from chorizo to carne asada steak to fish to veggies and more! To make the experience more authentic, Mexican-inspired décor and flatscreens featuring futbol accentuate and complement the sumptuous sabores of the Chaviras’ proud birthplace. If you just come by to catch the game, be sure to grab a heaping plate of Pancho’s nachos or a Pancho’s salad that offers all the flavor with fewer calories.
As they wait for a coveted liquor license that will allow them to replicate an amazing drink menu in Dedham that includes such creative concoctions as pumpkin spice and caramel margaritas, as well as Mexican and domestic beer and international wine, Pancho’s will slake thirst with homemade horchataand Jarritosfruit sodas, which are a treat for all ages any time of day!
So if you have been looking for a new place to get a taste of Mexico in Metro West, soon you will have two- as Pancho’s doubles in size and comes to Needham.
