The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

As our listeners know, Jordan, I am a BIG fan of our local producers and purveyors. Among my favorites is theband of liquid interrupters from Sebago Lake Distillery.

Their Kopi Coffee Rum is amazing and they recently followed it up with a new dark spicedvariety named after the Lake’s famed Spider Island. (which, it so happens, is where the Distillery’s founders first met!).

Though the company has expanded since that spider-bit day, the three products they put out still retains that hand-crafted quality and attention to detail. These guys focus on just one thing – 100% pot still rum – and sweat the small stuff – such as adding caramelized molasses to Spider Island Rum – so all you have to do is sip and enjoy its well-researched combination of inspirations from Cuba, Jamaica, and other more tropical islands.

After only six months in production, Spider Island won a prestigious Artisan Gold medal award for rum, so even the pros know how great it is!  Learn more about these great rums at www.sebagolakedistillery.com
