The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

While Chef Ming Tsai’s departure from Wellesley may have left many locals hungry, his new venture is helping stave off hunger for people all over Boston.

Hungry connects local chefs like Tsai with local businesses looking for fresh, locally-sourced catered meals. In addition to making things easier for hard-working people who need healthy fuel, Hungry is less expensive than many other catering companies.

Not only does Hungry give its chefs access to such industry leaders as Microsoft and WeWork, it also gets then better salaries and working conditions and encourages them to try new ideas and to work with their own local partners. Also, Hungry donates a meal to those in need for every two ordered. In just a matter of months, Hungry has already helped nearly a half-million of Boston’s hungry get a meal that is as fresh and healthy as any other customer. It is a win-win with added benefits for all involved!

In addition to having a legendary chef like Tsai in the mix, Hungry also has the support of such heavy hitters as Crafted Hospitality’s Tom Colicchio and music mavens Jay-Z and Usher.

In this hub of technology, food, and philanthropy, it seems only natural that a service like Hungry would thrive. Whether you are a chef or a CEO, Hungry can help you feed others and give back.

Thanks, Ming!
