The following is a “script” for one of Matt’s segments:

Though I have lived in the Boston area for most of my life, there are always new things to learn about this old city. And especially as I like to get some fresh air while I get some fresh knowledge, Boston By Foot tours are among my favorite ways to study!

In addition to special tours that deal with the life of Ben Franklin and the development of various cultural neighborhoods in Boston (many of which are accompanied by food), BBF is offering a series of tours called Tastings and Tales that combine some of the best stories about Boston with some of the best beers made here.

On Monday, February 24, BBF will reunite with frequent tour highlight Sam Adams for the Boston Uncommon tour. Starting at the Sam Adams brewery, the tour will offer delicious draughts and fun fables from Boston’s historic past.

March 23, the ladies get their due as BBF and Sam Adams present Remarkable Women of Jamaica Plain. From abolitionists to socialists and even a few Nobel Prize winners, this unique neighborhood has been the birthplace of some of the region’s strongest voices and, of course, one of its most famous beers.

So come enjoy good stories and good beer with great tour guides and fun-loving neighbors who are as eager to learn as they are to enjoy.
