Michael’s Deli is still the KING of community support

PLEASE support your local food providers and STAY WELL!

For decades, the folks at Michael’s Deli have been known as the kings of corned beef and the princes of whatever city or town they have been in.

And while everyone sings the praises of their sandwiches and krazy knishes, it cannot be said enough how good owner and Chief King Steve Peljovich is to the hungry and to the community at large.

In addition to being on his feet cooking and serving some of the best deli this side of Mott Street (and ALWAYS with a smile), Steve is always first in line when people ask for help. From catering for the Bruins AND their opponents to working closely with the Shawn Thornton Foundation even after Shawn moved to Florida, to making sure to raise tons of funds for cancer research through the Relay for Life and offering free cooking classes as part of Beyond Bubbe’s Kitchen, Steve is the mensch to know for those in need.

It is no surprise, then, that, during the Covid-19 pandemic, Steve is not only staying up late delivering his delicious and nurturing homemade foods by hand (with the help of his family), but also cooking extra helpings for friends and neighbors from far and wide, including members of houses of worship and residents of many area nursing homes, to name a thankful few.

So if you want the best in deli served by the best in guys, visit or call Michael’s Deli and tell ‘em Matt and Jordan sent ya!
