Boston Wine Expo

It’s February, which in Boston means two things- Valentine’s Day and the Boston Wine Expo.

Thus year, both are conveniently on the same weekend (February 13 and 14), so you can be a romantic wine fan and take your valentine to taste some wine.

As one of the nation’s largest wine expositions, the Boston Expo is always a great take, and brings people from all walks of life to the Seaport world Trade Center.

In addition to over 1,800 wines from 200 of the world’s finest vintners, the Expo features some of the region’s best chefs – including Ming Tsai, Barbara Lynch, and Chris Coombs – educational seminars, and representatives from the many fine companies that make the equipment they use. At this year’s Expo, VIPs can get early access, enthusiasts can gather in the Vintner’s Reserve Lounge to try more select wines, and everyone can ask questions of members of the Boston Sommelier Society.

For its silver anniversary, the Expo will be raising money for Tufts Medical Center’s Summer Camp Program for Children with Disabilities. So even if you have a tipple too many, you can feel good knowing that your enjoyment will help others enjoy life as well.
